C86300 Manganese Bronze Rectangle / Plate | Atlas Bronze

Atlas Bronze offers C86300 Rectangle / Plate Manganese Bronze. C86300 Rectangle / Plate is available as Continuous Cast Bar Stock per ASTM B505 and Sand Castings per ASTM B584.

The method in which the material is cast will depend on your size, specification and desired quantity.

C86300 Rectangle / Plate is in Standard thicknesses or we can cut your desired thickness, width and length from one of our Big Blocks! We regularly stock our C86300 Big Block Plates in a variety of sizes to achieve optimal cutting capacity:

  • 4" thick x 15" wide
  • 5" thick x 15" wide
  • 8" thick x 18" wide
  • 10" thick x 12" wide




Manganese bronze is not used in the commercial or consumer market; it is found almost exclusively in the industrial sector. This is because of the durability and toughness of manganese bronze. It is used to make bushings, valve stems, hydraulic cylinder components and propellers. Its primary use in industry means this bronze is typically sold in large amounts, with a standard bar length of 144 inches or 12 feet.

This material is used in a variety of applications. Typical uses for this alloy are: Extra heavy duty, high strength alloy. Large valve stems, gears, cams, slow-speed heavy-load bearings, screwdown nuts hydraulic cylinder parts.
